The basement of Katie's that's what I'm writing about here, and I'd say it just barely makes the cut.

Katie's is already a bar, and it's a lovely one. But if you've come here often, and you wanna separate yourself from the rest of the bar crowd and get a little privacy, you go to the downstairs bar.

The basement is equally as nice, but it has a much different vibe.

It's full of vintage furniture, and most patrons of Katie's aren't aware of it.

That embodies the spirit of what I'm trying to find on this website well enough for it to make the full list, even though I wouldn't say the basement is "hidden”.
