From the outside it looks like an apartment building, but if you head in and down the stairs next to the sign, you’ll find Madame George.

This is rare - it’s spacious in there.

It’s a massive place, and it’s all gorgeous. Velvet chairs, cushioned ceilings, and during holidays they go all out with decoration.

It’s not very often you’ll find a speakeasy with space to explore and sit. Most are small, secretive spots underground or in corners.

But Madame George has room, and that means it’s not hard to get a table or a seat even on peak nights.

At bare minimum, you’ll get in quickly.

It reminds me a little of the ‍Untitled Supper Club in that aspect - a speakeasy over in Chicago.
