Mezcalista is hidden inside the Moxy Hotel. Moxy does well at the speakeasy game - I've found a few inside other Moxy hotels in other cities.

They go all out on the decoration, especially at the entrance, when you're getting a table.

It genuinely is gorgeous inside.

It's also not that big of a space, so it feels more private than most.

And, very surprisingly, it's not that well known. It must still be new, or it must be relying on patrons from the Moxy itself, because the broader Miami scene doesn't seem to be that aware of it.

Luckily for us, that means you can reasonably expect to get a table, or a spot at the bar, whenever you so please.
