Nova isn't really a speakeasy, but it's off the beaten path enough, and chill enough, that I figured I'd give it a mention.

As the name suggests, they make their own alcohol. They make wine and Sake, from my understanding, and it's all excellent.

The bar is really just a tasting room, but anyone cool in the area knows about it.

It's hidden inside the Covina industrial park, and it's behind a gate, so you have to call a number (there's a sign posted on the gate) to get someone from Nova to open it.

That process alone is gonna keep out anyone boring, and it really is a nice place.

If you like Sake and / or wine, you'll be in great company. They know what they're doing.
